Terms and Conditions

MODESTyle aims to provide our customers with the very best service. Please refer to the below table to determine which return options are available for the item you wish to return. After deciding upon your options, contact our Customer Service within the time period specified to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). After receiving an RMA, you may proceed to return your item(s) for an exchange.

To ensure prompt service, please have the following information ready when you contact our Customer Service:

  1. Your order number
  2. Product name and product code of the item you wish to return
  3. Reason for requesting a RMA (Defective Item Exchange or Size Exchange)
  4. In cases of size exchange, the product code and size for the item you wish to receive in exchange.

General terms for all products

  1. All returns must be sent back to MODESTyle’s designated address with prior authorization, i.e. a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Unauthorized returns may be refused or disregarded.
  2. Returned items must be in their original packaging. Incomplete returns may be refused or disregarded.
  3. MODESTyle may or may not reship the replacement or repaired items by courier. MODESTyle reserves the right to decide upon reshipping methods.
  4. MODESTyle is not responsible for items lost during return shipping. We request that you send your return shipment via Registered Air Mail to ensure that it reaches us.
  5. MODESTyle reserves the right to change our return policies and/or reject any exchange requests for any reason without prior notice. Should there be any dispute, MODESTyle’s decision will be final.

Defective Item Exchange

  1. MODESTyle will be responsible for return shipping costs if the defective claim is confirmed to be valid, and if the defective items are returned via Regular Air Mail or Registered Air Mail.
  2. Return shipping costs will be refunded in MODESTyle Store Credit within fourteen (14) days of receipt of your return. No compensation for shipping costs will be provided when using other shipping methods, including Courier Services or Express Mail.
  3. In cases of defective returns, MODESTyle will provide a replacement item instead of a refund.

Size Exchange

  1. Items returned for size exchange must be in mint, unused condition, with hang-tags intact, in its original packaging and free from make-up and perfume stains. All shoes must be tried on a carpeted surface and include the original shoe box in its original condition. MODESTyle reserves the right to reject return or exchange requests if the returned items are in unacceptable condition.
  2. Customers are required to bear return shipping fees in cases of size exchange. MODESTyle recommends that customers use Registered Air Mail for the return shipment. MODESTyle will not be responsible if return shipments are lost during return transit.
  3. MODESTyle will be responsible for shipping fee of replacement back to the customer. Customer will still need to pay for duties and taxes on the replacement item. If stock is not available, MODESTyle will refund the full amount as a store credit, which is valid for 3 months for your next purchase. Store credits can be checked at My Account.

Item Refund

  1. Unwanted or unopened items returned to MODESTyle must be in their original packaging. Incomplete returns may be refused or disregarded. Customers are required to bear return shipping fees in cases of unwanted or unopened returns. MODESTyle will not be responsible if return shipments are lost during return transit.
  2. Refunds for unwanted or unopened items will be made in MODESTyle Credit only and will be processed when returned products are received and confirmed to be in mint condition by AFI. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Sale items are not allowed for refunds.
